[Eduplus] "Decasite Wins 2025 Global EdTech Awards, Recognized for Innovation with AR Simulator" Date: 2025-10-30
The winner of the '2025 Global Edtech Strartups Awards (GESA Awards),' Which competes for innovative edtech business models and technologies this year, was 'Decasight'.
GESA, co-hosted and organized by RunningSpark, DOHE DOHE, Maumin Vestment , and Impact Square, was held on the 30th at the main stage of Simoffice54 in Seoul Forest. Decasite, which was selected as the winner that day, introduced 'ARTIS,' the world's first AR (augmented reality) simulator, which is a technology developed by CEO Park Byeong-jun, a former thoracic surgeon, to provide effective medical education. The first-place winner will receive the following prizes: △the opportunity to participate in a boot camp to advance to the UK global finals; △the opportunity to pitch to global investors at the global finals; and △round-trip airfare for one person to the UK.
In his closing remarks, Jeong Hoon, CEO of RunningSpark, said, “The GESA Awards will be held in 28 countries and will gather at Bettshow in London in January next year. Watching the competition today, I realized that there are many excellent companies in Korea, and it was a great learning experience.” The GESA Awards, with participation from over 135 countries, is a program that discovers innovative education technology companies and connects them with a global network.
