Education using traditional practice phantoms has limitations in terms of assessing complication risks, accuracy in reaching target points, and understanding internal anatomical structures. To overcome these limitations, ARTIS incorporates Augmented Reality (AR) technology. The training is conducted using phantom 3D data based on actual patient data, AR, and a precise posture tracking system. During practice, it provides feedback on potential complication risks and the accuracy of reaching target points through quantitative indicators. This enables more systematic and realistic training.
This system provides everything within one platform, from theoretical materials and education, to AR and phantom-based procedural practice, training, and assessments that can be verified with concrete metrics. It offers an efficient and highly effective educational experience, addressing the issue of being deployed in clinical settings without sufficient experience. This new method presents a solution and can completely replace traditional educational processes where evaluating the trainee's proficiency was challenging.
